The audience is the public. The reverse is also terribly true. Over-solicited for the past few years, this audience has been making infidelities and the audience is breaking up. Let's go back to the fundamentals of radio: live radio that requires a real presence at the microphone, responsiveness in the processing of content and a closer relationship with listeners in the field. We didn't make it up, but we may have strayed from it a little too far over the last few years.

A powerful and enthralling morning show is one of the basics for achieving maximum possible ratings. Today and more than ever in the future. A good morning show ties the listeners with fun, emotion and on a deep friendly and personal level. No artificial intelligence can ever achieve this - people make the difference. In the future, the personal bond between the morning stars and their listeners will be the mainstay of a great morning show. Because listeners have more choices and competition nowadays is coming from everywhere, you need to have a complete morning show makeover to survive.
This keynote speech will show you, what modern morning show will look like:
What do you need for a great show in the future and which approaches and ideas of the past need to be thrown away forever in 2020?

Radio is a hundred years old, and podcasting is only celebrating its fifteenth birthday. But podcasting has a lot that radio can learn from, and the best podcasts have lots to teach us that can dramatically change how radio sounds. Are there things the old-fashioned world of radio can learn from the young, new, podcasters? In this provocative talk, radio futurologist James Cridland looks at what’s working in podcasting, and what that means for radio producers and programme-makers.

The numbers speak for themselves: the car is the place where you listen to the radio. But tomorrow, when your cockpit will be fully connected, what will be the place of the radio? Will it still be so easily accessible? Will other programs compete with her? Will the offer be multiplied at the risk of fragmenting even more the audience. Will the listener always need or want to listen to a program in his cabin?

By the actors of the association LESVOIX. FR

A voice, the voice. Voices, voices… They are still central to the success of radio. Radio has its "big voices", as the press has its "big signatures". And then there are also the "little voices", like the great couturiers have their "little hands". They are low, low, high or high. Sometimes derailed, soft, raw. The voice is still the future of radio and the message and we will see here why.

The number of podcasts is exploding; content producers are targeting their audience in the best possible way; advertisers are getting on the bandwagon; users are delighted to have adapted mobile content. Whether the content is paid for or subsidized by advertising, how can this production be quantified and qualified? Who's listening? Where? Where? When? When? how long? In order for a content producer to develop, he must be able to measure and be measured. The advertiser wants to know where to invest and what the return on investment will be. This principle applies to all media industries. But what about the podcast?
Triton has implemented measurement solutions (called Podcast Metrics) across more than 30 countries, as well as rankings in USA/Australia/Netherlands/South America, and will present some results.

With the evolution of uses where screens and connected media converge, the listener is looking for a rich and engaging audio experience. To remain relevant today and tomorrow, radio must cultivate its uniqueness, enrich its offer and adapt the experience offered to all listening media (from smartphones to voice assistants, from TVs to connected cars). What experience to offer and how? What data can enrich the feeds, how to manage them and optimize their use from the newsroom to the listeners?

Originally from Bordeaux and coming from a dual Franco-Congolese culture, the young Yudimah (24 years old) has brilliantly taken up the torch of a hip-hop that is committed, melodic, intelligent and capable of expressing clear ideas about living together, injustices and the state of the country. While he was involved in the voluntary sector to defend his values and more particularly the rights of children in the Third World, the singer did his scales from the bottom up, expressing himself in open stages and concerts that gave him an energy, agility and mastery of his flow that we rarely saw on this side of the Atlantic. Active since the age of 16, Yudimah has crossed paths on stage with the likes of Kalash and the young MHD and has built up a huge musical culture that ranges from US rap to trip-hop, RnB and jazz. His first tracks, between soul and hip-hop, showed remarkable compositional qualities, in a more rhythmic and poetic register, already marked by a strong aspiration for spirituality.

When and how to interact with your audience? Since the advent of social networks, the task has also been more difficult: it is not only a question of ensuring interaction through the antenna and, simultaneously, via networks. Interacting is often asking the listener so it is necessary to place the cursor in the rhythm of this request. What should we always ask listeners and, conversely, we should also sometimes think of avoiding asking them.

In 2016 , Alex leaves Radio France after a quarter of a century at the microphone and decides to take it back! He thought that the podcast was certainly this wonderful tool easily handled by all sound lovers convinced that they have a revenge on the image, but it is also a matter of professionals! Thus was born En Roues LIbres , now known as Écran Sonore, a podcast creation studio that met from the very beginning of its adventure with partners who wanted to tell their stories to their communities. At his side to evoke the choice they made to call upon this singular Studio, two actors who are passionate about sound, Arnaud Peyrolles , founder and president of the Idéactif agency and Anne Lescot, in charge of the Fonds du 11 janvier.

She had always sung, wanted to sing above all, but rather her songs that the others' and it didn't come. In the meantime: classical dance, choir, flute at the conservatory of his city (Clamart, 92), higher education followed by a brilliant and exciting career path in international finance in London and Paris. Suddenly, in June 2016, the need was obvious, almost inexplicable: a sudden magical flight of lyrics and melodies came out of her, ten, almost fifteen songs in a few weeks, a strong signal. There is no question of ignoring them, as if they do not exist, have no meaning, no reason to exist. The time, her time, had come, she knew it. Shortly after, happy meeting, by chance, of an artistic team, decision to record as soon as possible some tracks; days of discovery, communion and happiness in the studio, a first exciting show-case at the Reservoir in Paris in 2018 because the stage is; will be absolutely essential for her, a first video clip on her song Comment... and soon, in 2019, her first album very faithful to her desires; a dozen of multicolored tracks, very personal texts, a style, the participation of rare musicians & elders and wonderful... And now it's time for total, inevitable commitment to a new life, with the energy of hope; the realization of herself, as a matter of course, as a full-time singer-songwriter!

1006 / 2048 Sarah and William meet while they are both singers in a pop band. Musical and human love at first sight, the desire to sing and share the stage will lead them to create Granny Smith in 2017. They quickly wrote their first songs and laid the foundations for a modern, unifying, accessible and poetic acoustic pop. With hundreds of concerts to their credit, Granny Smith has proven to be both a powerful stage band and excellent songwriters and composers who are also excellent studio performers. Inspired by the current problems of society, they signed a first catchy single whose lyrics describe the expression of a personal fear about the world to come and above all a clear-sighted call to come together. Add to that a grooving guitar, poetic and luminous vocal harmonies, a dancing rhythm, a colourful and heady melody, and you get a first single perfectly calibrated for success!

Does your radio have a good carbon footprint? Are you going to report on an electric vehicle? Are your transmitters powered by solar panels? Is a wind turbine installed on the roof of your studio? Some radio professionals have been carrying out a series of actions in this direction for several seasons. And all of this is far from anecdotal!

To paraphrase a famous line from a French comedy, you could say: "Do you have a microphone? Do you have guests? So with the microphone, you make a podcast and put your guests in it". The recipe for doing the show with your podcast is not necessarily very complicated. But there are rules and a few ingredients and a trick to follow. We will know more in this discussion which will be illustrated with some very concrete cases.
